Connectivity
FIX and broker API integration, tested before it touches a live order
Order entry, market data and drop copy over FIX, plus the REST and WebSocket APIs most brokers and venues now offer. Built with simulators and replay so every message type is tested before certification, and monitored once it is live.

Who it is for
Built for fix and broker api integration
Brokers adding liquidity or venues
Connecting a new liquidity provider, venue or prime broker to an existing platform or bridge.
Prop firms and startups
Connecting a dashboard, risk engine or trading app to a broker's API without breaking when the API changes.
Operations and finance teams
Drop copy and trade feeds into reconciliation, risk and reporting.
What you get
Features for both sides of the screen
01
What we connect
- FIX order entryNew orders, amendments, cancels and execution reports, with session-level recovery.
- FIX market dataSnapshots and incremental updates, normalised into one internal format.
- Drop copyA copy of every execution for reconciliation and risk, independent of the trading path.
- REST and WebSocket APIsBroker and venue APIs, wrapped so a change on their side means one adapter update on yours.
02
What we deliver
- AdaptersOne adapter per counterparty, behind a common internal interface.
- SimulatorsA counterparty simulator so every message, reject and edge case is tested without a live session.
- Session monitoringHeartbeats, sequence gaps, rejects and latency on one screen, with alerts.
- RunbooksWhat to do when a session drops at the open, written before it happens.
The order lifecycle
Every message has to be accounted for
- 1
New order
Your system records the order before sending it, so a crash cannot lose it.
- 2
Acknowledged, filled or rejected
Execution reports update the order's state. Partial fills, amendments and rejects each have their own path.
- 3
Confirmed and reconciled
Drop copy and end-of-day files are matched against your records, and any break is raised the same day.
Plain-English FIX
The parts of FIX that cause most incidents
- Sequence numbers
- Both sides count messages. A gap after a reconnect has to be resent or reset correctly, or orders go missing.
- Execution report states
- A fill can arrive before the acknowledgement, and a cancel can cross with a fill. The state machine has to allow for both.
- Session schedules
- Sessions start and end at fixed times. A daily reset in the wrong time zone is a classic Monday morning outage.
- Custom tags
- Every counterparty adds its own fields. They belong in the adapter, not scattered through your code.

How we engage
It starts with a two-week Platform Review
1. Weeks 1 to 2
Platform Review
Read-only access. Findings report, costed plan and a prototype where it helps. You sign off the baseline we will measure against.
2. Weeks 3 to 8
Build, in fortnightly releases
Working software every two weeks on an environment you can use. Any AI wording is agreed with your compliance lead before a client sees it.
3. Go-live
Evidenced release
A runbook, an evidence file your compliance lead can read in one sitting, and an off switch for every AI feature.
4. Day 90
Results check
What changed, measured against the baseline you signed at the review.
Questions
FIX and broker API integration: common questions
Do you supply a FIX engine?
No. We work with the engine you have, or help you choose an open-source or commercial one, and build the adapters, tests and monitoring around it.
Can you handle certification with our counterparty?
We prepare and run the test scripts and work through certification alongside your team. The counterparty's own process and timetable apply.
Do you connect to retail broker APIs too?
Yes. REST and WebSocket APIs sit behind the same internal interface as FIX, so the rest of your system does not care which one it is talking to.
What about latency?
We measure it end to end and design for what your use case needs. A prop firm dashboard and a market-making strategy have very different requirements.
